In the field of authorization within Worldline in our division Acquiring & Online Global Products we are delivering our products in continuous deployment, using private cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and orchestration. For designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving our development environment and tool stack, we are looking for an DevOps engineer to support our team in Aachen.

Your tasks:

  • Further developing and establishing DevOps infrastructures for our software development and our product WLP Front Office
  • Developing and implementing pipelines in terms of continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Automation of recurring tasks using the latest tools and technologies
  • Improving our development environments and tools together with all stakeholders
  • Preparing and doing trainings for internal developers for the usage of new tools
  • Working inside an agile team in a scaled scrum approach

Your skills:

  • University degree (master / bachelor) in computer science or engineering
  • Work experience in IT services and/or software development or equivalent area
  • You adopt and promote a DevOps mindset and always think holistically across development or operational boundaries in your solutions
  • You have already gained knowledge of and experience in tools and technologies such as Docker, OpenShift / Kubernetes, scripting (Bash or Python), Ansible, Nexus
  • You have worked on Linux / Unix platforms, maybe you even have some development background using C++ or PL / SQL
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and improve
  • Substantiated problem-solving competence
  • Strong communication abilities and very good English skills
  • Wholistic view and system-wide thinking
