Process Engineer (f/m/x)

What you will do:

  • Develop commercially competitive technical concepts for complex dewatering and drying process solutions
  • Define equipment specifications based on heat & mass balances and kinetics. Scale-up based on experimental data
  • Define control concepts for complex plants together with Automation
  • Identify process risks and adapt the process design accordingly to mitigate these risks
  • Participate as process expert in HAZOP meetings
  • Prepare engineering documents
  • Participate in Technical clarification meetings, contribute to tender modifications and negotiations
  • Develop new process solutions in collaboration with our test centers and local process experts
  • Prepare procedures for commissioning and assist during critical steps (remotely or on site)

Your profile:

  • Degree in chemical or process engineering
  • Solid background in mechanical and thermal solid/liquid separation
  • Detailed knowledge in one of the following applications: chemical bulk materials, industrial sludge or minerals & mining
  • Experience in design of complex processes and plants
  • Analytical and solution-oriented way of working
  • Self driven, taking ownership and initiative to complete the required task within the timeframe
